World class soprano Renee Fleming accompanied by Zubin Mehta and the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in Jerusalem, culminating the end of the Season of Culture in the capital.
The Season of Culture was the brainchild of Oklohoman philanthropist Lynn Schusterman who believed that the cultural events in Jerusalem would encourage more young people to visit.
Fleming's performance at Jerusalem's International Convention Center on Thursday night will be broadcast to audiences at nearly 500 cinemas in the United States, providing a fitting end to an initiative intended to raise global awareness of Jerusalem's thriving cultural scene.
