Legendary actress, singer and performer Liza Minnelli is due to arrive in Israel as guest of the Cameri Theater this November.
Her visit is staged to coincide with the theater's production of Cabaret and she is due to give several performances.
The 65 year old singer's manager confirmed her visit after receiving a request from Israeli producer Gadi Oron.
The Cameri Theater plans to name its rehearsal hall in memory of Liza's father, the famous movie director Vincent Minnelli. Her mother was actress Judy Garland.
Liza Minnelli is a dynamic entertainer with a dramatic voice and stage presence.
She landed her greatest film role as floundering nightclub singer Sally Bowles in the 1972 musical Cabaret, and was awarded an Academy Award for best actress. The film won a total of eight awards.
