Hapoel Tel Aviv wins cup with 1-0 victory over Haifa

Hapoel Tel Aviv proved proved too strong for Maccabi Haifa last week when they won the State cup for the ninth time overall, and the fourth time in the last six years, in front of 40 000 spectators in Ramat Gan. The reds were able to put aside the public feud between their owner and that of Maccabi Haifa. One goal was enough to secure the victory and to deny the Greens the golden opportunity to win the league and cup Double for only the second time in the clubs history.
