Shakira is all set for a noble mission - The Colombian pop superstar is heading to Israel next week to highlight the importance of education for children across the world.
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador has been invited to attend the Israeli Presidential Conference in Jerusalem, where she will be a featured speaker at the three-day Facing Tomorrow 2011 event, reports the Daily Star.
The 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker has been working to improve education and nutrition for kids from impoverished areas in Colombia, South Africa and Haiti via her Barefoot Foundation.
She will take part in the Conference's opening discussion, entitled My Recipe for a Better Tomorrow, on Tuesday (21Jun11), alongside a panel, which also includes Jewish comedienne Sarah Silverman.
