New facility in the Dan region will reduce pollution at sea

A new facility in the Dan region will reduce waste streaming into the Mediterranean by 15%. The waste is mostly coming from Shafdan, Israel's largest waste treatment facility which routinely spills waste into the Mediterranean.
Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Arden, welcomed the move by saying "It's a happy day, we are inaugurating an environmental project that will prevent a lot of waste into the Mediterranean"
