Peres opens up residence to public during Succot

Israelis and tourists alike will be able to visit the President's residence in Jerusalem during the annual open house held on one day over the Succot holiday.
The residence will be opened to the public on Monday October 18 from 8.30am to noon, and the focus will be the environment.
Visitors will also be able to view exhibits highlighting Israel's achievements of agriculture, science, technology and welfare.
Also on display a photo exhibit showing President Shimon Peres with international dignitaries he received at the residence.
Israeli musicians, singers and dancers will perform throughout the morning to keep the visitors entertained.
While entry is free visitors are advised to make sure they are carrying identity cards or passports which they will need to present for security reasons before they are permitted to enter the residence.
