Israel aids the Philippines
IDF doctors and nurses even restored sight to four patients suffering from Pterygium (who could not afford the surgery in the Philippines).
In addition to medical aid, Israeli humanitarian personnel helped rebuild schools, set up clean water facilities, and provide food and clothing for the needy.
Parents of the first baby born in the Bogo City field hospital named their son, Israel, to honor the doctors.
