After a long journey halfway across the world, the #IDF #rescue team has finally arrived from #Israel to the storm-ravaged #Philippines. Thousands are waiting for them. As we speak, the field hospital is going up. In it, 500 patients will be able to receive the help they need.

As gratitude to the expedition members the baby's father named him "Israel".
Today, November 15, 2013, at 13:15 pm Philippines time, the first baby was born in the field hospital established by the IDF humanitarian aid delegation to the Philippines.
The baby was born with the assistance of the delegation's Gynecological medical team which consists of three gynecological doctors and two midwifes. The baby boy was born early during his mother's eighth pregnancy month at 2.150 Kg.
