Jerusalem gets new boutique hotel

Tamar Residence located next to German Colony’s cafés, restaurants and stores

Businessman Danny Rubinstein is opening a new boutique hotel in Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood. The 35-room hotel, called Tamar Residence, is located next to cafés, restaurants and stores.
The hotel includes three luxurious penthouses, as well as three-room suites, some of them modern garden apartments. Each suit has a separate living room and an accessorized kitchen.

All rooms include cable TV, WiFi, phone calls to every destination in the world for NIS 1 per minute, shopping and laundry services, parking and more.

“I believe that both Israeli and foreign tourists arriving in Jerusalem deserve a boutique hotel offering high-quality service at a convenient price,” says Rubinstein, one of the founders of the Isrotel chain.
The introductory price for the High Holidays stands at NIS 1,000 (about $270) per night for a suite of up to four people.
