Move over Michael Kors. There’s a new designer in town.

Recent Israeli fashion school graduate, Jonathan Zohar, presented these creations at the Shenkar College of Design as a part of the annual fashion design finals. The show has become a staple for fashion lovers across Israel and around the globe.

This year by the catwalk, we spotted world-renowned designer Elie Tahari, as well as Antonio Berardi — the Italian-British designer who has dressed Beyonce, Kate Winslet, Victoria Beckham, among others.
While all the showcased designs drew a warm round of applause, it was the works of Jonathan Zohar that got him a bit more than a handshake. Jonathan won a ticket to New York City, and the opportunity to work with global fashion icon, Diane Von Furstenberg.

His collection, “Tempting- Threatening”, is based on inspiration from pre- Raphaelite painters and the relations of those painters to nature, man, and the grey zone between them.
