Baryshnikov to appear in Russian play in Israel

Russian dancer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov is the leading performer in
a theater production called "In Paris," scheduled to play in Israel
next month,
The play is based on a 1940 short story by Russian
writer Ivan Bunin. The production will be performed in Russian with
Hebrew translation at Tel Aviv's Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and
Theater.
Baryshnikov , 63, is considered to be one of the
greatest ballet dancers of the 20th century and has also enjoyed an
extensive acting career. He made his first film debut in the 1977 film
The Turning Point.
