Bollywood film executives explore joint ventures with Israel

A team of top Bollywood film executives has arrived in Israel in a bid to explore joint ventures and potential filming locations.

According to the American Jewish Committee, directors and producers, who have been representing India's leading studios and television companies, are included in the delegation, English.news.cn reported.

The visit is held under the auspices of the AJC's 'Project Interchange' and this is the first time such a venture has taken place.

"I'm eager to meet local filmmakers and creative talent," Abhishek Sharma of Walkwater Media said.

"Our Israeli counterparts can surely enrich and contribute to India's colourful film industry," he added.

The team will attend the Jerusalem International Film Festival that is scheduled to premiere 'Gangor', an Indian-Italian co-production.
