American underground metal band to perform in Israel
The American metal underground band August Burns Red is scheduled to perform in Tel Aviv on June 9. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday at the Barbi Club in Tel Aviv, Israeli producer Shuki Weiss said.It is the first time the band will visit Israel in the framework of their upcoming tour that will take them to Moscow, St Petersburg, Helsinki, Hassleholm in Sweden, Athens and Istanbul.As yet there have been no calls to boycott Israel, a worrying trend that has seen the likes of a number of international performers canceling their Israeli gigs at the last minute.
